Chris has many years’ experience in the entertainment industry, starting out at the age of 15 in his own rock band in his native Wales. In 1990 he moved to Southern Spain where he quickly became involved in the very lively music scene that was thriving there. The Costa del Sol’s first ever mobile karaoke company - ‘The All Stars Karaoke’ - soon became a big hit, and is still running to this very day under the control of best friend Steve Fozz! Chris started his own music agency ‘Chris King Promotions’ in 1996, bringing over some of the very best tribute acts on the UK circuit, with many from Granada TV’s top show of the time - ‘Stars In Their Eyes’. He quickly established himself as one of the most well known tribute act agents of the era, and was probably the first agent to ever take tribute acts to Spain from the UK. The business progressed into bringing over tribute bands, original recording artistes, soap stars, and many famous ‘household name’ comedians. These included Frank Carson, Jimmy Cricket, The Grumbleweeds, Stan Boardman, The Krankies, Paul Melba, The Brother Lees, Billy Pearce, Jimmy Jones, and more. During this period, Chris was the main agent for the most famous cabaret bar ever on the Costa del Sol - THE ELEFANTE. He also supplied these acts to venues in Benidorm, Tenerife, and on the Algarve, through the years.
